Abstract:


BAM  is one of the hidden secrets of BizTalk Server and is quite possibly the most under-appreciated components of that product.  BAM provides visibility into business processes independent of the IT implementation or across a heterogeneous IT implementation.  Using BAM you can view business data in a as close to real-time as possible.


This session will introduce to the basics of BAM including.


   * What is BAM

   * Tracking in BizTalk Server

   * Understanding BAM Terminology and BAM Aggregation Model

   * Design time, deployment and runtime architecture of BAM

   * Developing a BAM-enabled BizTalk solution

   * Defining BAM Activities, BAM Views

   * Using Tracking Profile Editor

   * Associating BAM definition with orchestration

   * Using BAM Portal .


Speaker:  Oleg Gorchkov

Oleg has more than 17 years of diverse experience in the Information Technology, and more than 10 years in developing Enterprise-scale EAI, B2B and SOA solutions.

 

Oleg works for Systemgroup Inc, an IT consulting company, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, based in Mississauga, ON.

At Systemgroup Oleg occupies a position of Practice Director, SOA and Integration, leading the company's SOA and Business Process competency and earning it the distinguished status of Microsoft Core Partner in BizTalk.

 

In addition to his Systemgroup responsibilities, Oleg is also a member of the Microsoft BizTalk Virtual Technical Specialist team, which consists of a hand-picked group of partner representatives Microsoft selected for their strong competency in BizTalk.

 

Originally from Russia, Oleg lived and worked for many years in Australia prior to having settled in Canada, where he has lived for the past 6.5 years.

Oleg holds a B.Sc., Math degree from the Rostov State University (Russia), and he has obtained Microsoft Certified Professional certifications in a range of Microsoft Technologies, including BizTalk TS, MCSD.NET, MCAD.NET, MCSD/VB6, MCP/Windows NT.

 

As a public speaker Oleg has presented on a number of Microsoft-sponsored and industry events on topics related to SOA and BizTalk.
