First Winnipeg BizTalk User Group Event!

Kicking off the meeting, Darryll Sum of Manitoba Hydro will be presenting an introduction to BizTalk and will be outlining guides, blogs, and other resources for individuals who are just getting started with the Biztalk platform. Darryll will be followed by Shona Helstrom of EDS Canada who will be introducing BizUnit, a unit testing framework for Biztalk that works both with NUnit and Visual Studio's built-in unit tests. The meeting will close with an open forum discussion, in the hopes of soliciting feedback from the user community regarding future topics, and meeting formats.

Darryll Sum is a recently appointed Integration Specialist at Manitoba Hydro and is just beginning to develop integration solutions with BizTalk Server 2006 R2. Darryll has 10 years IT experience working for organizations within the transportation, utility and ISV sectors.

Shona Helstrom is an Information Specialist with EDS Canada and has spent the last 2 years focusing on Microsoft BizTalk, specifically around testing and deployment strategies. She has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, working in the medical and financial sectors.
