We've got a jam-packed November meeting that's overflowing with goodness! First D'Arcy Lussier will give a report from his week at PDC (Microsoft Professional Developer's Conference) on all the announced BizTalk goodies! Then Jeremy Wiebe will give us an introduction to WCF, a technology that BizTalk developers need to be aware of. As he writes...

"Windows Communication Foundation, one of the technologies introduced with .NET 3.0, is a framework for building distributed applications.  WCF provides a rich and consistent API but still allows you to control all of the details of the communication.  In this talk we'll do a quick overview of WCF.  We'll then dig into the different components and concepts within WCF.  Finally we'll look at some code examples of WCF in action and compare them to older technologies such as ASMX Web Services and .NET Remoting."

Finally, Dale Cantafio will be doing his best Emeril impersonation as he BAM BAM BAMs his way to educating us on the Business Activity Monitor.

Make sure to register early so we know how much food to order.

D'Arcy Lussier is an Information Specialist at EDS Canada. He has been in the industry for 7 years, focussing on all facets of .NET technology...but his recent love has turned to BizTalk. D'Arcy is heavily involved in community, including local user groups and INETA.

Jeremy Wiebe is a software developer at Imaginet Resources Corp with over 7 years of experience.  Mr. Wiebe is focused on delivering quality software using proven software development practices.  His interests in software and software development cover a wide variety of topics.  He is currently fascinated with Microsoft's Silverlight 2 release as well as messaging patterns in enterprise architectures.
